the actual concert was great. A lot of our friends ended up buying tickets beforehand and they all came out so we had a lot of support. It was a great learning experience and the most freedom I have ever experienced on a stage so it was a pretty cool rush to perform in that environment. We actually got a singalong going on our last song which was pretty cool and what we had hoped to happen but didn’t know if the crowd was gonna be on our side or not. It was great playing in front of an audience who really enjoyed original music. Enough time playing jazz gigs at a restaurant and you start to appreciate when people come to see you play, not to eat a good meal! I’m grateful you picked me up from myspace. my name is mizz I recently preformed at the red cafe on sunday April 3rd and i had a GREAT set i receved a GREAT responce from the croud and the host better than i ever expected. I want to thank you for giving me a chance to let people hear my songs. This was the first time i performed since my brother passed away in 08,   i didnt feel confident doin a set at home and my bro wasent able to be there. Afton let me kno that i STILL GOT IT and i thank you for it, if i never do another set again (i hope not) im satisfied knowing it was liked i wish i knew about you a few years ago. I would just like to thank you and the rest of Afton Booking for giving me the opportunity to get my music out there.Despite the conflict concerning the April 3rd show, my overall performance was a success! People were skeptical at first and the reacted to my sound like “Who is this weird guy?”, but as my set went on, people warmed up and ended up LOVING it.
